"As is a tale, so is a life: Not how long it is, but how good it is, is what matters."
– Seneca, (4 BC–AD 65), Hispano-Roman Stoic philosopher

Everyone’s life is defined by seminal moments. Events that provided moments of clarity that may have changed the course of your life. The catalyst might be a tragedy, a success, or an experience.

Think about those events in your life and use them as key placed or reference points for your story. To tell the story of this event, you need to revisit the emotion you experienced then, or that the event led to. Remember, it’s how you felt about the event that we want to hear, not only the story. For example:

  • A birth
  • A new relationship
  • A relationship lost
  • A dream job
  • Losing a job
  • A death
  • An accident
  • A trip you took
  • A professional sucess
