National Library of New Zealand, has a list of past newspapers online and a researching your family history guide.

This New Zealand Government page will help you trace your family’s history in New Zealand through genealogy websites, old newspapers, or ships’ passenger lists. You can also search for birth certificate's here.

The history and genealogy pages from the New Zealand Government, provide an array of New Zealand research resources links to help you find personal or family history.

The New Zealand Society of Genealogists provides a wealth of links to lose yourself in ... just remember to get back to your own life story!

Archives can be a time sucker and sometimes confusing, so we particularly love this blog post: The New Zealand Archives website is fantastic, but this blog post by the Archives is a great place to begin – it's designed to help aspiring genealogists to better understand some of the family resources held in the collection.
